Well this weekend we are headed to Delray Beach to visit my cousin, Lisa Mo and her hubby Josh and to see my 2nd cousin, Andrea and her family (she has 5 girls...Kendra and Kaylie are going to love this). We are going to be staying at a hotel, Josh and Lisa are coming to stay with us also...it is going to be so much fun. We have an ocean view room and Kendra is really looking forward to this.
The first week of school went great, I lost 1 pound! We have been driving to a street a little closer to the school and parking and we are walking while the kids ride bikes or scooters. Kendra rides her scooter and although I wanted her to ride her back before school started I think the scooter is a much better thing for her. There are so many people and since she only learned to ride her bike not too long ago it is easier for her this way. It is a pain though since she still has to wear a helmet and I am obsessed with her hair looking cute, but I did do her hair in 2 french braids today and it was adorable! So needless to say we have been walking 3 miles daily. And for those of you who have been to Florida during this time of the year, it is hot, humid and absolutely miserable! But worth it to walk and get into shape again.
Kaylie has been very tired and she just rides in a stroller, but the heat is very hard on a little one. But by the time we get home, get things cleaned up and give Kaylie a nap, it's time to head to school again to get Kendra. I have enjoyed my days, but I miss being able to get ready for the day, you see there isn't much need to look nice when you sweat like crazy walking twice a day.

When we got home from walking to school...Kaylie was exhausted...she fell asleep in the living room, which I can count on one hand how many times that has happened...but it was so cute!

After school Shanna and I stay and talk to one of the teachers for a little while...we are usually some of the last people walking home, but it sure makes it easier! The kids get to play on the playground afterwards so that is fun for them.
