Meadows Family: 12/01/2006

Well I wanted to let everyone know how we did at the YMCA Holiday Extravaganza where I was selling bows. Things went great...Spencer was such a great helper and was the reason we did so well. We sold 40 bows and I am very pleased with that. I can't wait to see if it creates more business...Spencer gave a card to every female that walked into the door. I am very happy that I also did way better than the other lady there selling bows. She actually asked if I would make bows for her and she would pay be by piece work...um No!! Anyway, here is just a quick picture of our table set up before people started coming in. Also...read the post below, it is new.

Well I know that I haven't written much lately so I decided to upload the pictures onto my computer from my camera and take a few minutes to write a few things...

Well we have our Christmas tree up and of course the 13 nativities that we have so far. I am so excited for Christmas to be here. This is Boogie's first Christmas and not only is she getting spoiled but so is Kendra...especially with her birthday on the 12th.
Kendra had her birthday party at her Mom's house today and she had a lot of fun. She got some barbie stuff and some clothes and from her mom and step dad she got a hampster...yucky! :) We had a good time over there. We are having a small family get together for her next Saturday and she is very excited that I got her a Cold Stone Cake...she doesn't know that it is a Lizzie McQuire cake, she is going to love that.
Friday I took Kendra to get her pictures taken for her birthday and she loved that, they turned out so good. Oh my gosh she just looked like such a big girl. We get those back on the 21st...so I will get those posted as soon as I get those back.

Kaylie...well she is just too much for words. She is getting funnier every day. She laughs and makes the funniest faces. She waves hi and bye to everyone and she can say bye now. It's funny cause when she wakes up she waves bye to her bed, it is so cute. She is getting very close to walking, but we don't practice a whole lot and are just letting her take her time. She will walk soon enough. We are just having fun with her during the day and loving every moment..until bed time. Then she wakes up a few times and until last night for about 2 weeks she would get up screaming because she was teething. That is hopefully coming to a slow end for of course a short time because the tooth we were waiting for broke through today.

Anyway...things are good, we are very excited for the Holidays. We hope you all got your Christmas cards in the mail by now. Kendra got to pick out the card this year so that is why the Princess's. But I figured that would be the only time we could do something so cute and girly. Next year I want to do a family picture and then hopefully by the following year I want to have had another baby and it better be a boy :) Who knows...wishful thinking!
