Laughter

Tonight we pulled the cameras out to take a picture of our ever amusing son, Lucas! With the help of Kaylie he decided to dress in her pajamas for bed! I said no, Spencer said just leave it alone! Yes...my husband thought it was funny. So out came the cameras and it followed with laughter. The 3 oldest all ended up on Kendra's bed tackling each other.
My poor little Chaz is getting his 2 bottom teeth in and he is miserable! I wanted to cheer him up so I pulled out my camera and hello smiles. Of course I couldn't let the day go by without getting a picture of him in his "my mom is hot" shirt! Love it! Notice the little tear in the first picture...

Copy Cat---Gratitude List!

My friend Caroline lists something she is grateful for everday on her blog in the month of November so although I do it on my facebook I am going to copy and blog about it also. I am going to give you a recap on my facebook posts!

I am thankful for...
Day 1

my husband. Even on a not so good day, he is there to help me clean up and take care of the kiddos!

Day 2

the person that cleans my house, it might not be daily....but it gets done! Oh wait...that's me.

Ok so I am really grateful today for the most amazing friends. I have some very close awesome friends in my life (you know who you are) who are always there for me!

Day 3

my husband! I came home from an amazing night at quilt group and my house was cleaned and dishes were done. (Lucky man...3rd day and I am thankful for him twice)

Day 4

my healthy little dude. Lucas is 24 pounds (25th %ile), 34" tall (25th %ile) and the doctor said he looks perfect.

Day 5

my big girl. Kaylie got Star of the Week in Pre-K for helping a girl in her class and following the classroom rules. ♥ my sweet girl!!!

Day 6

selling stuff at the garage sale today...any extra cash is great. I still have a ton of girls clothes left though...ugh!\

Day 7

the opportunity to take the new Sunday School class at church, Teacher, No Greater Calling. I can't wait to learn to be a better teacher at church!

Day 8
my little family! Just because!

Day 9
Benadryl and the quickness at which it works! Good night!

Day 10

the recipe/cooking blog Our Best Bites!! I have actually started to enjoy cooking lately and I think my family is loving it also!

Day 11
family time at Universal with Jill, Jimmy & James and my kiddos!

Day 12

a long (fun) night I came home to an amazingly clean house thanks to my hubby! All I have to do today is some laundry and figure out dinner!

Day 13

Sam's Club warranty service! We had an issue with our tv and now we are getting a check in the mail to get a brand new tv! Woo hoo!!!

Day 14

family time, because even at the end of a long day...this is what it's all about!

Day 15

the ability to sew! I know I mentioned this last year, but today was so much fun sharing a day with friends doing something I totally love!

Day 16

quilt group thanks to Gaydeen Dollar! I always have the best nights with everyone and learn so much! Thanks, ♥ ya!

Day 17
is thankful for laughter! Our kids always do the funniest things and even when they don't...it's still something to laugh about later!

Gotta hurry...

Ok it's bedtime! Actually, it's way past bedtime. Bedtime was about oh say an hour or two ago. Yet I am sitting here at my computer with Caroline running through my mind. Yes, you! You have inspired us all to blog more often. I don't know if I can do it daily, but I sure as heck plan on pulling my camera out to take more pictures.

Today I had some friends over to craft with me. You see, I need friends over to help me...that way I actually do what I set out to do. Today....Turkey day shirts for the kids. For the girls, turkeys and for the boys, pilgrim hats. Thanks girls for a great day!

After everyone was gone for the night I went to get Lucas, who was playing in the bathroom on the counter. All week he has been showing me a boo boo he has on his knee. Tonight the cutest thing ever, he was trying to wash it off in the sink. I had seen him use a baby wipe, but this was so much more priceless, I love this kid!

I am so proud of Kaylie and how much she is learning in school. She surprises me daily with the new songs and things she has learned. The other day she came home with a paper that had her first and last name written on it...I asked her who helped her spell Meadows...no one :) She already knows how to spell her first and last name by herself. Tonight she decided she wanted to learn how to spell her middle name. I love just sitting there watching her do homework!

Chaz is all over the place. Tonight he climbed into the ottoman, which I use as a diaper caddy! Such a goof...and yes I have been feeding him too much orange baby food!

I'm Back!!

So not only have I been super busy, but I decided to start a new blog about my fun craft and cooking days! Check it out, http://sixteen22.blogspot.com/. I can't wait to get started on it.

What's been happening in our life?

We moved! Yes, we are finally out of the 2 bedroom condo and now into a 4 bedroom 3 bath house. Life is fabulous...still messy, but more room!

Kaylie started Pre-K and is having a blast learning. I can't believe she turns 5 in only 3 months! This girl has to be without a doubt...mini ME!

Kendra is in 5th grade, wow! Last year at Elementary school...I'm getting old! She will be 11 years old in less than a month. Do you know what kind of attitude came with 10???? I can't say I am ready for 11!

Lucas is hilarious! He is 2 now and keeps me on my toes. I love the new words he learns every day. He loves to copy everything anyone says or does!

Chaz (Sawyer) is my little Mr. Personality. He is so much fun and the kids have a blast with this little guy. He is 9 months old on the 18th, it's so crazy to think that in 3 months he is going to be a year old.

Spencer is doing great at work and with all of his side jobs we are pretty much back on track for the most part.

Me...well I am busier than I swear I have ever been, but it's great. Of course life isn't all roses, but I can go to bed at night with a smile on my face no matter how challenging the day has been and I can definitely say that I what I have always wanted!
