Happy Thanksgiving!!

Well I don't have much time right now, we are packing for Vegas. Our plane leaves at 7:45am...not fun. We are going to have to leave our house super early. Anyway, I colored my hair today and I wanted you to see it. It is dark I know, but I love it. It is such a change from being so blonde for so long. I will of course go back to more blonde in the summer, but for now...this is it!

And last...today Kendra's class had their Thanksgiving Feast and I went and ate lunch with her in her classroom. It was really fun, I was the only parent and Kaylie was with me. Then I hung out while they played Bingo and Kaylie played on the floor. I love being able to spend time in her classroom, I really enjoy her teachers. Little Kaylie

Well Kaylie got her pictures taken with Santa...and she didn't wear any of the outfits that I previously posted. I actually went to Gap and bought her another pair, a little less Christmas, but very Christmas at the same time. They have red/white striped pants with pink ribbing on legs and a red shirt with a little picture on front with some animal on a sled that says snow days and pink ribbing on neck and sleeves. The pictures turned out so cute, she smiled at Santa and we got some really good pictures. I will post them as soon as they are online. I can't wait to get the actual pictures, but we have to wait until we get back from Vegas before they are here.

So for all of you that haven't heard the news, I got a new car. It is a small SUV, it's a Buick Rendezvous. I love it! Here are a couple pics that I got when we brought it home. It is so much easier putting Kaylie in the car and the back has so much room. It doesn't seat any more people than my Nissan, but it is great.

Well here are just some other pictures of Kaylie...let me explain the cow costume! I was on The Children's Place website and they had Halloween costumes on sale so I bought the cow costume in size 0-3 and 3-6 months...just in case. Yeah, I really don't know why I did this, but it was cute! And yes that is my 9 month old daughter wearing a 3-6 month costume..she is very short!

Also, I think I need to explain the green sweet peas all over her body and her walker. You see I bought these little dipper spoons for babies. It is to help them learn to self feed. The just dip it into the food and don't have to use a spoon to scoop...well it didn't matter if she had a shovel, the food wasn't making it into her mouth. Here are some fun pics and a video. By the way, I put her in the sink to give her a quick rinse after and she screamed...apparently she doesn't like the sink being used as a tub! She did have fun playing with her food, but I think it was a bit confusing to her also...I am still in shock that I let her do this!

Ok we are officially back! I have my camera cord and I couldn't be happier...well I am sure I could, but I wanted to get these pictures up so bad! I am however not going to post very many, but I am going to give you the link to go look at them. I would be online forever if I posted them to this blog. So...like most of you have done in the past go to www.dropshots.com/katiemeadows and enter password kaylie. I have new pictures posted that start on October 10th, so you'll have to go to the second page to see all the new pics. Things have been so crazy lately. Spencer just called and is on his way home, I hope he doesn't freak when he see's the house is so not clean. I have been so busy this week planning for that shopping open house my friend had so that me and a few other vendors could sell our products. Sadly I didn't sell too many, but it didn't help that it was POURING rain...really bad that night so I think that stopped people from coming. I did sell a few, but mostly it was important that I got my name out there. Other than that, the family is great. Kaylie just had her 9 month pictures today, I can't believe how fast she is growing. She is just the most adorable baby girl and I love watching her every move. I tried to scan the picture proofs, but you can't see them at all. They should be online by sometime next week. Kaylie is also getting her pictures taken with Santa Clause tomorrow at Target. I hope she does well, she has a doctors appointment in the morning and I think she gets shots. I also hope she isn't scared of Santa...you never know! She does get scared of strangers every so often, but if I am right there it shouldn't be too bad.

Ok so I am sure you are maybe wondering about the Cast Your Vote title. Well I am going to dress Kaylie in her pj's for her pics with Santa...that's what they suggest for a really cute pic. So I need help deciding with pj's to put her in. The picture will be with Santa who is going to be wearing his suit...so let me know what you think! Thanks and I would right more, but I am at a very high stress level since my house is a disaster and I need sleep and Spencer will be home in less than 3 hours...got to get to work! xoxo I am so excited Christmas is so close, if you can't tell from the colors!!!

Mommy's Purple Fairy Princess

When we were in California Laura's sister, Socorro who works at a Leonard Photography in Manteca, had us come in to get our pics taken. I just love them! The pics didn't scan very well, but they still look beautiful! Thanks Laura for mailing them to me so quickly...I love ya! Well I should get my camera cord tomorrow and I will get some other pics up. Happy Halloween

Sorry that I haven't posted anything in the last few weeks. We were busy having fun on our trip to California and then went to Spencer's family reunion when we came home. We are now back and trying to get back into the swing of things. I am tired and so is Kaylie. So here is what we've been doing:

Kendra is busy with school, soccer (her last game is Saturday) and we just signed her up for ballet which will go until June. She is doing great in school and is reading very well.

Kaylie is of course keeping us on the go. She is everywhere!!!! She crawls so fast and is very quick to put anything she sees in her mouth. She can say mama and dada...she actually says mom alot when she is crying, it is very sweet. It looks like she is working on her 3rd tooth, this ones on the top. Now I know exactly why she has been chewing on her thumb lately. She tried to suck her thumb the other day, but that wasn't going to happen.

Spencer is well...very very busy. He is working so much and so hard, but is great at making time to spend with us.

I am actually super busy right now also with being a mommy and making my bows. I have a shopping open house on Nov. 7th and also a Christmas Extravaganza on Dec. 9th. I am not sure what to expect at either of these places so I will probably be learning alot. I am trying to make as many bows as possible to have as inventory so they don't have to special order, but I am always up for special orders...those seem the easiest sometimes.

Trick or treating was a blast last night. The four of us went with my friend Shanna, her husband and their 2 kids, Crystal (Kendra's mommy) and her step dad and brother Devon, Brenda, Steven & Jordan. We have so much candy it isn't even funny. Spencer took Kaylie to the doors in her stroller and he had a bag for her and a bag for him...and yes he had every person put candy in both bags! I can't imagine what some of those people were thinking. I did buy him a mask to scare Kendra that he ended up wearing out so at least he had that.

I only have a few pics to post at this time and it is only cause I am taking them from my friends in Cali. I left my cord for my camera at my mom's so she is mailing it to me today. I will then have over 200 pictures/videos to share. Here are a couple pics I have for now!
