More of our night...

If you are just reading this and haven't read for a week...please see below for a couple very recent posts.

So tonight ended up being so much fun. We had Makenzie, our niece, over to play with Kendra. These girls have so much fun together. Since Kendra learned how to ride her bike today we had Spencer go get Makenzie's. The girls, all three of them (Kaylie included) had such a blast. We were outside on bikes today for probably way over 2 hours. That's a lot for me to be outside just walking around, but I'm sure I got some exercise in tonight. Here are some way cute pics of us outside (well not me, cause I'm ALWAYS taking the pictures) and some pics of the girls playing around inside. They went into our room and watched High School Musical and then after I put Kaylie to bed I played Uno with the girls...they were cracking up the whole time. I love spending special time with this playing with the girls. Tomorrow for FHE Kendra is giving a lesson about establishing a family routine. I hope to get something in order for when school starts again. I also want to make sure we are spending quality time with our girls. So...every night we are going to make sure the tv's are off until the kids are in bed, unless they are doing something and I want to have fun things planned for them. I just know that when they look back (at all the bagillion pictures I have) they will be greatful we were able to have so much one on one time...I hope :) Anyway, I have to get some pics posted cause it's 11:45 and I have to get to bed. I am taking the girls to the library tomorrow for story time and toddler time. This should be interesting but fun at the least. Kaylie will enjoy it and Kendra loves books so it will be a homerun for her!

Also, I know the girls aren't wearing helmets...You see I have tried a couple time to get Kendra to ride a bike. With so many tears the last time I gave up for a while...I think that was before Kaylie was born. Anyway so I decided the other day I would try and didn't even think to look for her helmet. And we couldn't find it today, but I still wanted to try and I couldn't buy one since today in Sunday. She will be getting one this week when we buy her new bike. As for Kaylie, even though I push her I will be getting her one also :) She loves being on that little bike with training wheels. She thought Kendra was on it earlier today and she threw a fit until she saw her bike...then realized Kendra was on her own. Anyway, we will be for sure riding safer in the next bike pics. :) Thanks Shayleen for the great reminder, we all need those sometimes.

Riding round and round...

Well I have some exciting news...

No I am not pregnant! :) But, Kendra can now ride her bike. I know she is 7 and she should already know how to, but I haven't made the time to teach her until today. We were both determined and it happened. I told her it would be a piece of cake and she believed it. My aunt Deb actually told me last week about this lady that paid $15 for a book to teach her daughter how to ride a bike...the book told her to lower the seat. So I lowered her seat in her tiny little 16" bike and well...it worked! So we are going this week to buy her a new 20" bike that she will be riding to school when she is with us.

Enjoying my little girl!

Well I have really missed Kendra being gone for the last almost 2 weeks, but I have enjoyed my alone time with little Kaylie. (Who is picking her nose as I am typing...her allergies are bugging her so she is constantly rubbing her eyes and nose). You will be able to see from many pics that her eyes are watery and her nose is often runny. We have started reading books more often...I read the same book to her, A Color of My Own, six times yesterday...she kept going to the book shelf and picking the same book, it was really cute. We have been swimming a few times, but I don't have pics from that cause I was obviously in the pool with her. She is so good at jumping into the water to me, she hates having to get out to leave.

Yesterday she had a doctors appointment for some shots and her 15 month check up....we were a little late. I actually didn't know she had 15 month shots...we were going to the doctor so often for her weight issue that nothing was mentioned. She now weighs 19lbs. 6oz. and is 30.5" long. Her weight is still off the charts, but her height is in the 23rd %ile. She is going up on the charts for her weight so that is good.

Anyway, I have to get a few things done while she is taking a nap...she woke up at 6:30am so she is taking a nap now (it's 9:15am). We are going to the pool today, so I want her well rested for that. Well here are some pics from our week. We also had Taylor & Morgan for last weekend so I have some pics of them also...

Back in Florida...Back to Reality!

Well we got back home just in time for my 27th birthday. For my birthday I took Kendra, Kaylie & Abby to Animal Kingdom. It was actually quite fun, we spent the perfect amount of time there. Then home and out to eat with my family.

Since then we have just been hanging out, going to Disney a few times here and there. I have been cleaning my house non-stop. I have to admit I am rather proud of myself and how nice my house has started to look. I have clean carpets and now I have to work on getting some of Kaylie's toys in storage boxes to put in the garage, she just has too many and until we are in a bigger house some of them have to temporarily go! So...here are some pics since we've been home.

Kaylie loves her bed, but doens't always stay on it. We are working on a solution for this.

Spencer came home with a PS2 game, thanks Dad! No really, I appreciate it...not so much! But it is cute Kaylie watching Spencer play and then she grabs the extra remote to play with him. He actually doesn't play too much and I seem to be doing something else while he is.

POTTY TIME!
So most of you know by now I have slowly started to potty train Kaylie. She has done great so far. She has pee'd and poop'd in the big potty. We bought her a potty baby doll and she is learning from that also. We aren't in a rush, just slowly doing it so that if for some reason we have another baby in the next couple of years I don't have 2 in diapers. (There aren't any plans for another one yet...sorry, but hopefully next year) I was going to post a few pics, but then realized they showed a bit much...but here is a cute video of her, Kendra & Makenzie trying to teach her to grunt to go potty!

HAPPY 4th of JULY!
We had a BBQ at Kevin's house like always. Kaylie hated the fireworks like always, but Kendra had a really fun time with her cousin Makenzie. And Daddy didn't set Kaylie on fire this year :) So our fourth was a success!

Summer Lovin'

Ok so I haven't written lately, not since I was in Reno. I have so much to write about, well sort of. As I think I posted last we went from Reno to Ripon California where my Daddy lives. We had such a fun time there. We got there on Father's Day so that I could spend it with my dad, I haven't been able to in the past 2 years so this was really nice for me. We really just hung out at the house with my family. Spencer got whipped in ping pong by my dad, that wasn't his fav part, but I laughed cause everything thinks I suck at ping pong...huh Jason? :)

Kaylie and Kendra loved playing around with their auntie Kristi and Uncle Jason & Ryan...and of course Pops. Kaylie played so hard she fell asleep in Uncle J's arms, it was so sweet. Kaylie had fun eating watermelon with auntie Kristi and just running around in the backyard. I can't wait until we have a fenced in backyard one day so our kids can play outside more. It sucks living in a condo where we don't really have a safe area to play outside.

So I took over 1000 pictures on my whole vacation (Reno & Cali) so it is really hard to pick my favorites. I personally love them all! :) Anyway the next day we had a fun time at the pool and then had a bbq with lots of friends and family.

Then for a super fun day at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Me, Spencer, Kendra, Kaylie, Pops, Kristi, Jason and Kristi's friend Melissa went and it was the perfect day. It wasn't too hot or too crowded.

So that was brief look at our vacation. We had a blast and wish we could have stayed longer, but of course we had things to get back to here at home. Thank you everyone for hanging out with us and giving us some great memories! We love you & miss you already!!!
